Mushroom caviar is the most ideal choice for your taste bud. For sure mushroom caviar is a catchy menu than “mushroom spread” or shallots sautéed in butter and minced mushrooms even though that’s basically what it is. Moreover, if you love mushroom, it will be a more delighted appetizer for you.
Ingredients:
- 3 Tbsp of butter
- Salt and pepper as per taste
- 1/2 pound cremini mushrooms along with wiped clean and finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp of dry white wine
- 2 Tbsp sour cream
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 Tbsp chopped parsley
- 2 Tbsp pine nuts and
- A couple dashes of cayenne pepper, to taste.
Approximate preparation time: 10 Minutes
Approximate cooking time: 10 Minutes
Direction for preparation:
- First of all melt the butter in a large skillet on high heat. Once the butter melts, add the mushrooms and shallots. Sauté for 5 minutes and keep stirring continuously which will stimulate your appetite.
- When the mushrooms are cooking, heat a small skillet on high heat, add the pine nuts to it. Don’t forget to stir continuously, until they begin to get a little toasted. Once it started toasting remove the pan from the heat and put the pine nuts into a small bowl and keep it separate.
- When the mushrooms are cooking sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper to it. Once it have cooked for 5 minute, add the garlic and a tablespoon of dry white wine. Also Cook for an extra minute and remove from heat. After removing from the heat, Put mushroom mixture in a bowl, add the toasted pine nuts, and set aside to cool. And this is a perfect appetizer for your taste bud.
- When the mushroom will start cooling down a bit, mix in the lemon juice, sour cream, and parsley. Sprinkle on cayenne pepper, to taste which will act as a perfect appetizer for you.
